Granite
Granite consists largely of magmatic rocks which were formed by the cooling of magma deep in the earths crust over 500 million years ago. Their outward appearance is usually dappled. Some granites are also metamorphic in origin, having been created by the transformation of existing magmatic rock under high pressure (for example, during the development of mountain ranges). These metamorphic granites are typical for their variegated colouring and their flamed structure, which makes every individual slab/stone unique. Granite is the hardest and strongest stone known to man after the diamond which makes it an excellent medium for countertops. The durability and versatility of granite along with its technical qualities and natural beauty will complement any tone of wood or style of cabinetry, from French country to sleek modern styles. If you choose a granite worktop you will be choosing a worktop which radiates luxury and charm, whilst at the same time offering a maximum of comfort and ambience. Granite requires almost no maintenance, is resistant to intensive use and remains visually attractive in all circumstances. It is acid free, scratch-resistant and almost non-porous.
We import all our granite directly from its source of origin and have a well and long established relationship with our suppliers guaranteeing us the best quality for all our customers. Our granites mostly come from India,Brazil,South Africa, Norway, Finland and China
